If you want to learn Arabic fast, this article is for you. I’m going to show you three tips on how to learn this language quicker and more effectively than an average person. Are you ready? Let’s start!
1. Stay positive
Arabic is considered to be one of the most difficult languages. Does it mean it’s really difficult? I don’t think so. Sometimes it’s frustrating because it’s very different from English, but if you concentrate on the positive things, you will greatly improve your learning speed. Many people learn Arabic slowly, because they complain too much. Don’t be one of these people and stay positive!
2. Use image association
In Arabic, sounds which are similar are written with similar symbols. For example, the “sh” symbol is similar to the “s” symbol. “Sh” is written with three dots while “s” is written without dots. Now, associate the “s” symbol with something related and easy to remember. The “s” symbol looks to me like the capital “U” with the “E” symbol written sideways.
If I wanted to recall how to write “s” I would think about the capital “U” and the “E” symbol written sideways (notice that “sideways” also starts with “s”). So, what do we have? SUE! The only thing which I need to remember now is that “s” is “Sue”. Oh, and now I also know how to write “sh” thanks to similar symbols – it’s Sue with three dots! Keep in mind that Arabic has four forms of letters, but you can apply this method while learning all these forms.
